Back in business, I’m not gonna let a little allergy win. Couple of hours of cycling it was today. It’s getting really really green here, what a change to that dull spring. I really don’t like spring that much. It’s all gray, brown and somewhat dirty and dusty. This green thing, this I like:
(Sorry about the crappy filter, I’m just trying out different ones.)
Nice! How has your week started?
I’m not allergic to anything. Or at least so I thought. But it seems that I’m learning new things nowadays. I’m allergic to birch pollen, which sucks. It means my nose is running, I’m sneezing all the time and my throat is sore. Since the antihistamin drugs are working a bit, it’s clear that this is allergy and not just a little cold.
This is so annoying. I’m not sick, so I could go and exercise. But I get out of breath really quickly so it’s pretty much impossible to do anything I want to. Like gym or running. I did cycle to work and back on Monday which meant about 30k and went skating yesterday. But that’s it. I’m going to try biking again tomorrow, let’s just hope I don’t roll over and die 😀
Today was a sort of a rest day. No strength training, just some easy bike riding. First part of the ride was great, the sun was shining, the lake was beautiful and the forrest was nice and cool.
On the way back home I ended up in the middle of a storm. It was raining so hard, that I couldn’t see where I was going, and the rain drops were hitting me so hard I was sure I got some bruises. When I got home, the rain obviously stopped. The minute I got my bike locked, no more rain.
What are the odds that the one time you wear WHITE t-shirt you end up soaked? I mean, I poured some water of my sneakers for heaven’s sake.
